You can catch Eddy friday nights from 10pm on XFM (Click here for more information on this) as well as his monthly columin in DJ Mag.

Look Out for Eddy’s new DANCE ROCKS night in Ibiza this summer at Es Paradis club, in San Antonio. The DJ line ups promise to be pretty special – keep an eye on ETMs myspace page for more news.

The latest release features artists from Snow Patrol to Sub Focus over two discs; and we feel the album speaks for itself. But just to back it up, here's what the press have been saying:

Update DMC

Eddy Temple Morris first got tongues wagging with his over enthusiastic presentation, on his XFM radio show The Remix, where he would track down hard to find, forthcoming and not quite kosher remixes, of a lot of today's happening bands and artists.

To say playing these cuts made Eddie TM nearly wet himself is an understatement. "I'm really feeling that" became a catchphrase amongst XFM listeners. Here on "DanceRocks" ETM shows off some new skills, and gets behind the mixing desk himself, opening the album with his own superb rework of Snow Patrol's "Wow", adding big rave riffs and a rolling break, which really drives the song into a floor filler anthem. Eddie TM is also given a free reign on Kasabian's "Club Foot", beefing up the beats and letting off some squiggly bits.

With "Valentine" from the Delays he takes a bit of a proggy route, and Ladytron's "Blue Jeans" gets mashed with the The Stooges classic "I Wanna Be Your Dog". "DanceRocks" is a reflection of what is happening on a Friday night in most student unions, and half decent clubs & bars across the UK. It's worth having just for the Snow Patrol cut alone.

PLANET NOTION

Indie rave from the king of crossover
Sweeter than apple pie and more beef than a Big Mac,
Dance Rocks is rather like a McDonalds extra value meal.
Enjoyable, almost something for everyone and although you wouldn't want your diet to consist of only that, there are times where you just need that Mc.hit.

Taking his XFM show out of the studio and immortalising it in a mix for all to enjoy, Eddy Temple Morris has twisted some of the most commercial mainstream tunes into individual breaksy full fat bites.

The first out of the two CD offering is mixed by Eddy, with his own Losers remix of Snow Patrol's 'Wow' setting the tone. Swapping its melancholy drone with big beats, this hints at what's to come as the likes of The Doors dance to the same tune as The Prodigy.

This vibe continues right through to the unmixed CD2, where Kasabian's 'Club Foot' meets Infadel's 'Love Like Semtex' in a big 'Ibiza Rocks' style indie rave up.
Bad a ba ba ba... we're lovin' it.

We like Eddy Temple Morris cos he's down with the kids and supporter of some seriously upfront shizzle and here he's letting his creative juices flow.

This sampler kicks off with yet more bigness from Deekline & Wizard who deliver 'Woah' featuring what we reckon is some 'Bouzouki' style bass that had my girlfriends ears perk up (she's of Greek origin just in case you're wondering what she has to do with all this) she officially reckons it's a cool tune and likes their bass.

Next up is Eddy's remix of Snow Patrol and it's an interesting re work which both of us liked the bit with the electro stab but not the full on rock section (more rave stabs please Eddy) this is definitely one for the indie dance crew. The final track is 'Transitions' by Stone Lions, a filthy raw and grindy track that is an interesting piece that's probably more appreciated in a live situation than on my home stereo.

To sum up, an interesting selection of music that's not going to be everyone's flavour but if you're partial too some rocking rave action you're going to love this.

EQ

I've certainly been finding myself playing more indie style, rocky dance tunes recently, both House and Breaks, so it comes as no surprise that Mr Temple Morris is on the same tip.

Before this excellent LP is released, there are 2 samplers on the way. Part 1 has tracks from Deekline & Wizard, Stone Lions and an outstanding remix of Snow Patrol's "WOW" by Eddy himself.

For me "WOW" is the pick of the bunch and is an anthem in the making. Part 2 has another Eddy TM remix of a high flying indie band, this time he's taken the massive "Clubfoot" by Kasabian and given it a dirty dancefloor groove.
With the other tracks coming from Atomic Hooligan and Backdraft, this is another release not be missed.dj hal

Twenty 4 Seven Mag

Eddy TM for those unaware hosts an XFM radio show legendary for switching the tastes of dance and rock listeners. This is a double CD release, one mixed one not andwith some tunes shared between the two CD's. On the dance spectrum Eddy currently fits the breaks end and marries that sound to bands such as Snow Patrol, TheBravery, Bloc Party and even The Doors with the help of remixes from himself, Adam Freeland, Benny Banassi, Deekline and more. The major breaks players present include Backdraft, ILS, Future Funk Squad and compatriots.
If you like elements from both these scenes you'll love this but if you're a purist whose head is stuck somewhere- stay there you won't like it.
